Our Philosophy
Mastro Giorgio is in Rome, in the historic and enveloping Rione Testaccio.
Outside the environment is evocative, characterized in the warmer seasons by the green pergola and bunches of grapes: the ideal setting for tasting our recipes in harmony.
Inside the decor is warm and informal, with soft lights and colors, refined furnishings, an extremely welcoming atmosphere.
We have chosen to combine the gastronomic history of the Capital with careful and passionate research which involves traditional Italian regional recipes, the most typical products and raw materials: ours is a contemporary cuisine inspired by the seasonality of the products and the rich heritage of our country’s food and wine culture.
We always use fresh, quality and seasonal products such as borage, pumpkin, onion (slow food presidium), red garlic and DOP extra virgin olive oil.
The egg pasta and desserts are prepared by the chefs respecting the recipes of the past. The menu is always on the move, ensuring a stimulating fusion of territory, seasonality and imagination.
